Featured placement puts one profile at the top of a specialty-and-city page, above the ranked results and labelled Sponsored. It does not change the order of anything beneath it, and it does not alter a single fact on your profile.

$49 – $149 per month, per city, per specialty. The range reflects how much search traffic a city sees; we quote the exact figure when we reply, and there is no setup fee and no minimum term beyond a month.

This is an enquiry, not an order. Nothing is charged and nothing is reserved until you have seen the price and confirmed in writing.

How slots are allocated

There are 2 featured slots per specialty, per city. Not more, because a page of sponsored results is not a directory.

Open slot? It is yours, first come first served.
Full? You join the waiting list for that city, in the order enquiries arrive. We tell you your position.
Every twelve months each slot returns to the queue. The current holder is offered it again first and can renew once — after that it goes to whoever is next in line.

So the longest anyone can hold a slot against a waiting list is twenty-four months, and in a city where nobody else wants it, indefinitely.

Why not just auction it?

Because bidding sends every slot to the largest practice in the metro, in every city, permanently — and a directory built by a physician should not make the solo practitioner in Cedartown structurally unable to appear.

If demand ever genuinely exceeds a queue’s ability to handle it fairly, we will design something better and publish it here before it takes effect. We will not introduce bidding quietly.

What featured placement is not

It does not reorder the organic results underneath it.
It is labelled Sponsored everywhere it appears — that label is not removable at any price.
It does not change anything factual on your profile.
It carries no guarantee of impressions, enquiries, or appointments. Anyone promising you those numbers is guessing.
