An AI assistant reads a profile to answer a patient. A scraper copies pages in bulk; it counts as a crawler, never as an AI read. A claimed profile is what the assistants quote.
How this is counted
Cloudflare sits in front of Guide.md and sees every request, including the ones answered from its cache that never reach our server. Once an hour we ask its analytics for the requests made by each named crawler. An AI assistant is one that reads a page to answer a person: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Meta AI, Apple Intelligence and others. A search engine is Google, Bing, Apple or DuckDuckGo. A scraper copies pages in bulk for training sets or resale; it is counted, but never as an AI read. The figures are Cloudflare’s own estimates, the same ones its dashboard shows. Human visitors are counted separately and are not in these numbers.
A claimed profile is what the assistants quote: your own words, your current address, what you treat. Claim yours. The numbers here are also available as JSON.
