Something a claim cannot do? Write to a person
Taking a profile off the site, a profile someone else claimed, a privacy request, a question. Pick the subject and it reaches the right person; everything that arrives is read, usually within two business days.
Pick what the message is about and it reaches the right person faster. Everything that arrives is read.
Corrections, suppression, and privacy requests
If a Guide.md profile is wrong, choose Correct provider information and tell us the NPI and the field. If you want a profile off the public site, choose Suppress a provider profile. No account, no plan and no profile claim is needed for either, and there is no charge. Privacy requests, appeals and account deletions have their own choices below.
Guide.md may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that you are the provider or are authorized to act for the provider. We do not ask for a government ID to suppress a public listing unless there is a genuine dispute about who is asking. If you are writing for someone else, attaching their written authorization saves a round trip.
Response times
Most messages are answered within two business days. Corrections and suppression requests are prioritized over everything else.
Please note
Guide.md cannot give medical advice and cannot pass a message to a provider. To reach a practice, use the phone number on their profile or their own website. In an emergency, call 911.
