Gynecology Practice SEO: the practice is a place, the clinicians are people, both need a page

A practice is asked about as a place: hours, services, insurance, who works there. A clinician is asked about by name and by what they treat. Most directories mix the two into one entry, so neither question gets a straight answer. Guide.md keeps them separate and links them: an organization profile for the practice, a profile for each gynecology, each claimed by the person responsible for it.

Guide.md lists 3,878 gynecology specialists from the National Provider Identifier registry, refreshed weekly. It also lists 1,748,063 practices, hospitals and organizations with NPIs of their own, each claimable by an authorized representative.

What the practice profile carries

  • Hours, locations, phone, website, insurance accepted, languages, and a paragraph in the practice's own words.
  • The clinicians who work there, each linked to their own claimed profile, with what each one treats.
  • Appointment requests, telehealth and accepting-new-patients badges at the practice level, with listing pages for each.
  • schema.org MedicalOrganization markup, which is what assistants and search engines parse for "is this place open, what does it do, who is there".

Who claims what

An owner, administrator or office manager claims the practice with an address on the practice's own domain. Each clinician claims their own profile with a work address. A practice or agency account can also take over a clinician's profile on the record, and the clinician can take it back at any time.

How AI assistants choose, and what they read

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity answer "find me a gynecology near …" from pages they can parse: structured data, consistent facts across sources, and specific statements about what a provider treats. A registry line with an old address is not a page an assistant recommends from.

A claimed Guide.md profile carries schema.org markup, the conditions and procedures the provider confirms, locations, languages, insurance and the provider's own words, on a page assistants and search engines already read.

The first step of gynecology practice seo, in two minutes

  1. Find your record. Search your name or NPI on the claim page; the profile already exists.
  2. Confirm it is yours. With a practice, hospital or institutional email, type your name and it is yours at once. Any other address is reviewed by a person within a few days. Free, no document, no card.
  3. Say what you do. Tick the conditions and procedures you treat, add your locations, hours and a paragraph in your own words. The registry never overwrites what you write.
  4. Switch on what applies. Accepting new patients, telehealth and appointment requests are free badges with their own listing pages; physicians can also list as expert witnesses, treat-on-lien providers and industry consultants.

What Guide.md does not do

  • It is not an SEO agency and does not sell rankings: nothing you pay changes where you appear in results, and nobody is ranked by quality.
  • It does not guarantee that any assistant or search engine will recommend you; nobody can. It makes sure what they read is accurate and complete.
  • It never charges to claim, correct or hold a profile. Paid plans and listings are optional.

Questions

What is gynecology practice seo?

A practice being found as a place (hours, services, insurance, who works there) and each clinician being found as a person. Guide.md gives the practice an organization profile and each clinician their own, linked, all claimable and free.

Is my gynecology profile already on Guide.md?

Almost certainly. Every gynecology with an NPI is listed, 3,878 at last count. Search your name on the claim page to see the record as patients and assistants see it now.

Does claiming cost anything?

No. Claiming, correcting and holding a profile are free. A practice or institutional email makes it yours in a minute; any other address is reviewed within a few days. There is no identity check and nothing to pay.

Can an agency or my office manage it for me?

Yes. An agency or practice account can take the profile over under its own login, on the record, and you can take it back at any time.

Claim the profile first. Decide what else you need afterward.
